昨日 メールフォームから問い合わせをした
木工雑誌「SHOPNOTES」についてですが、さっそく返信が帰ってきました。

Thank you for writing us. Unfortunately, the realities of the slow economy have caught up to us. We have had a proud history of producing ShopNotes for the past 23 years. But now we are forced to close the pages on this great magazine. However, we have taken some of the content from ShopNotes and rolled that into Woodsmith magazine to make a bigger, better issue.
Everyone with ShopNotes credit was sent a Woodsmith issue #217 with the notification about the closure. You do have a credit of $67.90 US funds and you can apply it to any of our other product, such as books, DVDs, online content, Woodsmith subscription etc, we’d be happy to help you with this.

- 廃刊は本当だった。
- その代わりにWoodsmith #217号を送り、廃刊を連絡した。
- 代金として受け取った$67.90は別の商品に充てることが出来る。
って事ですね。
手元にあるWoodsmithを見ると
「Vol.36/No.216」
「Vol.37/No.218」
があります。
Vol.は連番で続いていますが、No.は確かに飛んでますね。
でも肝心の#217が無いぞ？
と思いながら、ググると・・・あれ？読んだこと有る・・？
って事は、どっかに行っただけか～
と安心したんですが、
そうじゃない！
$67.90の何かをどうやってか受け取らないと～
メール内容では代わりの商品への振替方法までは案内されてないから、
とりあえず#217を探してみたら書いてあるのか？
探して無いようならメールフォームから直接指定するか。だね。
面倒だけど、勿体無いし頑張りますかぁ・・・
